Maidens, Mothers, Matriarchs & Crones,

Join us at Mountainwise Farm for a monthly Women’s Community Circle! It is my intention to hold a space for women to meet, share a meal, chat, craft & be in community!

What to expect/What to bing:

  • picnic style bring your own blanket, towel, chair

  • a shared potluck meal, bring a small vegetarian dish of your choice! (byo drinks, water, etc)

  • we’ll set a shared intention for each circle

  • a topic of conversation - ex) gardening, life, food, womanhood, skill share, spirit, DIY, community, resilience

  • a hand craft - bring a small craft project to work on ex) mending, knitting, embroidery, coloring book, sketchbook, watercolor, felting, hand sewing

Women have been gathering since the dawn of time - in circles, in Red Tents, at births and around fires, song and ceremony. In an age that seeks to disconnect us from ourselves and from each other, it is increasingly important for us to create space and intention to gather.

Since WW11 women have gathered in social knitting groups or Stitch n’ Bitch clubs to talk and knit. What started as a social gathering has continued today as an act of resistance to political, social and technological change as well as a reclamation of “women’s work” from a feminist perspective.

Join me in creating this space!
